FOXCARES‘ April Non-Profit partner is fairly well-known after “40 years of feeding hope”. Second Harvest has been serving the Nashville community since 1978 and today, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of the largest and most comprehensive of over 200 food banks and food distribution centers nationwide. Last year alone, the organization’s fleet of 18 trucks covered more than 750,000 miles, rescuing and delivering food to their network of more than 490 partner agencies and directly to hungry children, families, and seniors throughout their 46-county service area through a number of well-executed feeding programs.
1 in 8 Middle Tennesseans including 1 in 5 children struggles with hunger every day.
FOXCARES is proud to partner with Second Harvest in the month of Apil to raise both awareness and much-needed resources for the 1 in 8 individuals including 1 in 5 children of Middle Tennessee who are at risk of hunger.
